Art in the city

Paris is unconditionally the #1 capital of culture worldwide and represents a hub for art aficionados and investors. Art market players come from all over the world to Paris to take advantage of its rich network of art galleries, its “vie mondaine” and highly respected museums.

The city of Art fairs

Every year, Paris welcomes numerous art and design fairs such as the PAD Paris, the FIAC, ASIA NOW, Paris photo, the famous Biennale or Fine Art Paris with millions of art lovers attending and well established galleries such as Perrotin, PACE, Hélène Bailly, Gagosian, Galerie Beres, etc...

From Constance Guisset, Matali Crasset, Pierre Paulin, Ora ïto, Jean Prouvé or Jacques Garcia, the most famous designers come from France and have been working in the French capital. Moreover, Paris has been cultivating a first-rate design community which comes several times a year from the rest of the world: no one wants to miss the Paris design week happening during Maison&Objet.

The so-called flea market

At the crossroads of the arts, the 15 markets of the “Puces” of Saint Ouen - the most famous of which are Dauphine, Vernaison, Serpette and Biron - are an ideal “rendez-vous” for designers and art collectors. After looking around in Galerie Glustin, JLF antiquité or Mydiscoveries, they enjoy a great brunch at Ma Cocotte, the restaurant designed by Philippe Starck - meanwhile, the Convelio team is busy picking up, carefully packing and crating their beautiful and unique pieces, preparing for them to be shipped all over the world…
